We at Cumberland Heights Baptist Church and when I say we, I mean our total church family, realize that everybody needs a place where they can come to be free from the everyday pressures of life, a place where we can sense and know that the presence of God is in this place. A place where we can be encouraged, a place where we know we belong, a place where people really care about me as a person.

You might ask, what do we believe as southern baptist? We believe in the inspiration of God's Holy Bible, the Deity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Salvation is by Grace through Faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ, on Calvary that forgiveness of sin is only by the Blood of Jesus. The precious Holy Spirit is our guide through God's word.

We believe that God's divine love will fill your heart and you will love as he loved. His love will cause you to reach out and touch people's lives with care, compassion, and concern.

We at Cumberland Heights Baptist Church have been touched by the Love of God and His presence in our lives. We have found the real joy of life and the true purpose of what life is and why we are here.
